Things to sauver...TRUFFLES & FOIE GRAS

"The pleasures of the table belong to all ages, to all conditions, to all countries and to everyday: they can be associated with all the other pleasues and remain the last to console us for the loss of the rest"
Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin
1755-1826

FOIE GRAS BURGER
at The Bistro Burger in Uzes
Corrine and her husband Tom, proprietors of the little "burger haven" at 19 Place aux Herbes, have traveled and eaten their fare share of burgers, to bring the true flavors of America to the french plate. And no one will mind if you put ketchup on your fries!  I however, chose a less classic burger, and opted for true gluttony...a burger with two nice slices of seared duck liver and a fig confit spread.  Dripping with foie fat, to be enjoy on a rare occasion, worth every calorie and clogged artery!

Bon Appetit!
